Nakai Vineyard

Nakai wines have been exported to Japan and Thailand only.
Akiyoshi Nakai moved to San Francisco from Japan in 1964. He started wine business in 1979 after his intensive 2 years study including viticulture and vinification as well as wine business practices at Santa Rosa Junior College. He started his business with 8ha vineyard in Russian River Valley and Sauvignon Blanc. With great care and passion, his vines grow to fruit high quality grapes. At first, he only supplied grapes to several wineries. However his grapes increased its reputation and even brought awards to some winery at Sonoma County. His passion grew and decided to make his own wines.

A.J. Adam

Andreas Adam is a younger top name in the Mosel.
As the Robert Parker's Wine Advocate web magazine stated,“Andreas Adam is a younger top name in the Mosel.” Andreas started the wine business in 2000.
With using his grandfather’s old wine cellar and inherited talent, Andreas restarted winemaking with using small parcel of 1000qm. His sister Barbara joining wine making in 2013 has made A.J. Adam’s passion and willingness doubled.
A.J. Adam’s reputation has been growing in the industry. Always focus on quality rather quantity. It is rare to see a top producer with such very limited production. Andreas and Barbara minimize adjustments and treatments but handle with great care to make wines express their potential.

Light, piquant and sweet on the palate, this is an extraordinary Kabinett because it is not just light, fruity and piquant, but also very complex and filled with tension. “Adam's 2014 Hofberg offers a clear, deep and elegant, intense and smoky bouquet with concentrated aromas of ripe stone fruits. Round, intense and juicy on the palate, this is a rich and full-bodied Riesling with power, concentration and a long finish with a nice salinity in the end. Complex. This wine will benefit from further bottle aging of four or more years and can age for more than 20 years. It has 12% alcohol. “(Wine Advocate)
